#13 Chicken, Wild Garlic & Pearl Barley Soup
This is rainy day, winter cooking at its best. A deeply nourishing hearty bowl of brothy chicken soup with wild garlic, chunky veg and pearl barley which has such a pleasing texture. Incredibly easy to make, all in one pot and just a handful of ingredients. The first shoots of wild garlic are here and I could not be happier. If you can’t get your hands on any wild garlic yet, just use some frozen spinach chucked in at the end, and grate in a little smidge of raw garlic while the soup is still hot. Wild garlic or not, it’s a damn good soup.
